Sawyer (boy)
- sounds cool-masculine, but gentle, and starts with an S and I would like to name a boy after my mother who is susan and my mother in law who is sally, it also means "of the woods". it is original-sounds "nature-like"
- This name reminds me of a little boy in overalls that loves being outdoors. It's so cute.
- Gotta love this one - unusual, but not too weird. Perfect for the new millenium. This one seems like a creative type name to me.
- I love surnames as first names, and this is one of the best. It has a slightly southern sound to it, makes me think of a guy in jeans, white tee shirt, cowboy boots, and a black cowboy hat. Makes me homesick for Texas.
- Sawyer Blaise: I love this name. It is just perfect. As Sawyer, in my opinion, is rather a momma's boy kinda name I thought the middle name of Blaise (pronounced as Blaze) would give it some masculinity. The name Sawyer reminds me of the book by, I think, Mark Twain.
- Sawyer Ethan: Sawyer is unusual but easy to spell and pronounce, and Ethan is the name of my new little cousin.
- Sawyer Ried: This is the cutest little name i have ever heard.
Sawyer was originally an English surname; coming from the word "sawyer" as in one who saws wood.
